happy family

i got the sore throat bug early last week, then the fever bug decided to come & visit me too. lucky flu bug din stop by, cus i din invite tat fella. then hubs kena the sore throat bug also. lepas tu, the nightmare started, lil missy got into the mess too! gosh, all my damn fault. never stay healthy! last week was my 1st time taking 2 days MC off from work this year, cus i really kenot tahan!

poor lil missy had fever on & off for 3 days, twice we brought her to paediatrician, 1st time parents is like this lor, kan-cheong giler wan mah. her fever even hit 40.2c on Tuesday nite which really made us panic. we quickly gave her suppository & her temperature went down. dammit! tension! im praying each day, not to have this kind of episode again. lead a healthy life! take more vit C!

work's been pretty hectic too. lots to clear as year end is coming soon, dept budget to use, raise this, raise that, do this, do that. all last minute. biasa-lah isn't it? i used to read somewhere that the ultimate motivation is the deadline, doesn't that ring a bell? hehe... in midst of all the chaos, i got myself a new book, cecelia ahern's "the book of tomorrow" to reward myself. need to start to read it soon. also a kawan passed me 2 tix to Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT for tomorrow, showing in e@curve. why lah have to be this far, now thinking whether wanna go or not?

pangkor island resort

our co had a treasure hunt recently to pangkor island resort. it was fun, and a last minute decision for us to join. my friend called me up last minute & asked us if we were interested as the original team mates fong fei kei, and i said yes cus i have been there previously for a hunt as well, and i love that place. so hubs agreed to go along, and what fun we had.

despite that we didn't win, but we had fun, made this trip worth it. despite i lost my mobile phone the day before the trip, made me wanna go for this trip even more, just to forget my dumb careless mistake, for that's another story for another day, for being a dumb dumb! sigh!

after the hunt from 730am right up to 3.30pm from USJ towards Lumut, we were tired giler!

packed ferry, packed transfer from jetty to hotel, greeted by welcome drink, song & dance by hotel staff, only to sampai to our nice hotel room, worth it!

after refreshing ourselves, we went to lepak around the hotel & beach area. its the hotel's private beach, and it's beautiful

the next day, we were enjoying ourselves to the scrumptious breakfast served. tell me, how many times do you get to eat your breakfast by the beach? hahaha... so we took this opportunity to really enjoy kao kao! after breakie, we went lepak by the beach & lastly checked out after a nite stay. next time can come back with lil missy for a short holiday here. peaceful & quiet, a nice spot for cuti-cuti malaysia peeps :)

dear God, please no natural disaster *ehem*

hands-on

our babysitter gave a last minute notice that she needed a day off for her medical check up & some errands to attend to. she normally won't do this, dunno why this time she did. probably she thinks i can easily take a day off just like that without prior notice. well, this time i can't cus of work commitment. hubs didn't tell me when babysitter told him she needed a day off. i know hubs didn't want me to sajer take off so he only told me last nite itself & he offered himself to be babysitter for the day!

so today morning he dropped me off at my usual spot, and he head back with a sleepy lil missy. think lil missy was wondering how come no go "poh poh hse" (she calls my babysitter 'pohpoh' too), she continue her nap till 11am, as per daddy. and once she woke up, she had some bread & hubs got her ready to go out to great eastern mall to have lunch with 7 of his ex colleagues. wah, that's a big group. i called him while they were having their lunch & im having mine. so far so good.

then they got back home, around 2ish, watched TV, fiddling some books, some coloring (more like conteng-ing), afternoon short nap... and they even went swimming! wahseh, not bad ah this daddy, keng wor... hehehehe... i was really happy hubs pulled this off nicely. i never doubted him cus lil missy always has been daddy's girl. this lil samseng of mine... sometimes can be an angel :)



i know hubs reads my blog once awhile, just wanna let you know, you did a good job today. well done. hehehehe... muaks!

mid autumn festival

how come weekend so fast over wan leh? why are the good times always flew past so fast wan leh? anyway, had a good "party-ing" with the family over the weekend in malacca over at cousin's place, with yummy food, great company & a good time! think lil missy was having a ball!

as usual, my lil missy can't resist holding cameras & snapping about, she was given a digital camera which belongs to my cousin's wife for the nite. if not, gone la ours...

mom cooked her signature sambal prawns, which obviously won the best dish of the nite. hahaha... everyone can't talk a for awhile cus after savoring it as it was oh-so-damn-spicy. it was too good to be missed.

then it was lantern time. candles, lot of lantern for the kids. of course, i joined in the fun, how can i miss playing the lanterns. burning it down one by one (not really lah!) wakakakaka!

this lil baby girl of my cousin, reminds me of some blogger lil princess. hehehehe... she is just oh so adorable & chubby! then it was lantern walking time...

sempat celebrate my birthday too. hehehe... coincidentally, my lil niece birthday was also around the corner, so we shared a simple cake to it.

luckily my cousin's home was near to my parent's home, so the journey back was short. overall a great nite, we got home around 1am & lil missy of mine still jumping around when we reached home. cialat!

DOB

time flies and im reaching the big 3-0 (next year loh). yikes. today is my birthday, and also my 4th year ROM anniversary. we have chosen to be legally married on my birthday cus it was easier to remember. hahahaha... either me & hubs, not so good in remembering dates.

4 years back, i was still slim, i mean, the way i look, aiyor. sien. looking back at my younger days, i seriously need to do something. hahahaha... my shape sudah out lah! and i remembered, on my ROM day, other bride was wearing white & pinky dresses, and here i came in a maroon dress! hahaha... soooooo out of place i felt. it didn't occur to me that i have to wear a white dress, cus i was very chin-cai kind :) if i tell you, that dress i wore to my ROM belongs to my mom-in-law, please believe me, cus its hers! wakakakakaka...

4 years gotten married, anak also 1 oredi. shape also out de. pffftttt! modus operandi dieting has to start. then if slim de, bb no2 comes along, then back to aunty again :( uuuuuwaaaa!

anyway... wanna thank ms Jacss for the lovely lunch treat over at california pizzas, and it was nice meeting Elaine for the 1st time too. and how can i lupa this special lady for the lovely post for me. hahaha... kamsiah woman!

KLIA

it was lil missy pertama kali going to the airport. we were sending off hubs' aunt back to canada & lil missy tagged along. we reached KLIA about 9pm-ish. as usual ms hyper active will be running here & there, helping to push the larger-than-her luggage trolley... kepo-ing here & there. where does the kids get their energy from?!

then before our aunt left, she wanted to get lil missy a gift. so we went in a gift shop full of soft toys & other gifts. and guess what my lil missy took, a lil bongo drum! *pengsan* of all the mickey, minnie, pooh bear plush toys, she took a bongo drum. hahahaha!

she was playing the drum the whole time we were there, in the car, and even hug it to sleep! krys oh krys...
