kim mah lun @ 29.8.09

started the journey from KL around 11ish am right after we have our early lunch with my parents who arrived from melaka at 9.30am & bro from cyberjaya who was not awake till we practically burst his mobile with our calls

meet up with the rest of the gang at Tapah rest stop while waiting for the rest of the group whom was late lah! biasa-lah... when u have like 38 of ppl joining the trip! or was it 41... i lost count. hahahaha!

all said use old road to kim mah lun, cus can stop by at the nice waterfall along the way, adoi, never see waterfall before meh, but then bila i reached the place, no regrets! the view was really nice, so calm, crowd was ok, guess coming to CH at puasa month is a good thing. hehe!

"are we there yet?" constantly on my mind, mciam Hi5 singing there. no regrets lor, that i passed the tickets to zmm, glad her dotters enjoyed the concert (though the parents are bored, haha!) next we came to this little tea place, which i also forgot the name. it was a nice lil break after a long drive, to have some tea & strawberry cheesecake. heaven! and not forgetting the cold weather. waaaa-weeee!

as usual, with the whole kampung together, we nearly turn the place upside down, with laughters & pictures taking!

oh finally we sampai-ed our apartments, desa anthurium. it was a nice place, all upmost important it was clean, organised and comfy. after settling down, off we lepak. some started preparing the food, some left to pasar tani to get some fresh veges, some started mahjong, and some just laze around. me? busy taking pictures lor

the 1st nite, we had steamboat ala sendirian berhad, and it was a blast. there were so much food, i was so happy especially eating with the whole kampung together-gether, it was a fun & cosy time. and plus the weather was shiok!

the next day, off we went to check out CH, 1st destination, of course the famous Sg Palas BOH plantations! i was talking about this place like forever man, lepas reaching kim mah lun. jakun mar me, 1st time coming here leh. paiseh paiseh!

the drive up to the BOH tea centre was a winding one, my cousin bro kept honking his car, and we thot at 1st it was for fun, but actual fact is to warn the incoming cars from the other direction! u see, the road up, was a tiny, good for only 1 car at a time, sometimes can muat 2 cars, and each corner u can't see the other car from opposite direction, so we were all honking our cars like someone was getting married. hahahaha!

upon reaching the centre, started la, camwhoring! hahaha... after that, time to enjoy some tea, pies, scones and cakes! the cafe was full house, but luckily we were able to get tables for ourselves. we spent a good few hours up at the BOH tea centre. it was really nice...

snap snap snap!

and it's pretty difficult to get everyone for a group picture lah, somehow somebody will be missing. we tried our best & imagine the poor fella we kidnapped to take pictures for us, 5 - 6 cameras leh. poor fella. hahaha!

then on our way down, we were stucked about 30-45 mins, cus someone is blocking someone lah! as i mentioned earlier, it was a tiny road, so someone has to give way to someone 1st lor. oh well, already stucked, might as well make the most of being stucked. so all came out from their cars, and start fooling around. siap make frens with other cars lagi, someone even mentioned time for poker. haha! that's the great part holiday-ing in groups, it's never boring. hehe!

after tea centre, off we go to strawberries farm, drinking smothies, eating ice cream and eating strawberries of course! dinner was BBQ! there was a bbq pit at our apartment area, and we had a good time till late nite. lil missy was pre-occupied with daddy's ifon till siap make fren with another neighbour's son. hahaha! kids... so fast can warm up de, how i wish adults were like kids. so natural, so sincere...

on our last day, we went to big big strawberry farm which belongs to my boss' family. it was really BIG! and the place is really nice. u can practically spend the whole day here, siap got kids' play-area. smart isn't it the owner, attack the kids 1st, then the parents will stay. hahaha!

i had some strawberries cakes & i tried their strawberry coffee smothie. wah, it was very nice! only recently introduced there wor, as the owner told me. very nice!

then it was time to go home. after checking out, we went over to Kea farm along the way, to buy veggies, flowers, sweet potatoes, corns, everything there is which caught our interest. we all drove to kampar to have lunch & then head home.

overall, it was a good trip, we all had fun. we should make this a yearly event. the last i heard, all planning on a redang trip. gosh.... sea sick! hehe...

go-go-ga-ga

my name is lee min ho, im a korean & i think irene's currently obsessed about me. wakakakaka...

lucky or not, i dunno...

the day i found out that Hi5 was coming to town, i was pretty happy probably for the fact we have been watching Hi5 for the past 1 year almost everynite till elmo took over lil missy's heart. hehe! lil missy has about chapter 1 - chapter 8 of season 8 or somthing, each dvd ain't cheap, but yet i still buy it for her. guess that's what we say "sanggup kan" for the kids. still, on & off lil missy will want her dose of Hi5. i must say, me & hubs really enjoyed watching Hi5 lor. their songs, their dancing, their story-telling are really entertaining, and lil missy do learn a thing or two from them

so being an itchy butt, i pegi joined an online contest @ mix.fm & i kenot even remember what i wrote for the slogan & today... knock! knock! the courier guy came & hubs msn-ed me "now u choose, u wanna go cameron highland or u wanna go genting this weekend" & straight away i know what i won oredi, 2 Hi5 tickets!

i normally win CDs, and now OMG... why you have to do this to me lah. and they say life is always full of decision, and for this, i have already made up my mind. we are going to cameron highland cus this will be our 1st holiday together as a family & for the fact, there will be 35 of us (and counting) whom will be going together, how could i not go cameron kan? hahaha...

still somewhere inside me, i wish i cud bring lil missy go watch Hi5 lor... sure she shiok habis :) adoi... kenapa ler maciam ni. now who want the Hi5 tickets? it's the RM120 seating wan leh, don't play2 :) i got 2 tickets to giveaway to anyone, email me, msn me, call me. quick!

my poor tevee...

uwaaaaaaaaaa... our poor tevee doesn't wanna be switched ON... the fella donwan respond to us leh, and the lil missy been pestering "i wan elmo... ON elmo... where elmo..." poor lil missy, poor parents of hers. adoi, when the tevee was alive, don't wanna watch, now tevee RIP already, pulak i wanna watch. sob sob.

this tevee of ours was a present from our friends when we 1st move in to our lil apartment 5 years ago. and now... it has gone to heaven. hubs gonna try to bring it to the shop to have it fix, hopefully can fix ler, if not, we have to watch our shows on the lil tevee stored somewhere between my junks in my room. uwaaaaaaaaaaa...

im so dissapointed

we came back from melaka, reaching kl about 7pm. then as usual, did some laundry, clean the house, then we went for late dinner around 9ish. decided to go where i love to go, which i realised its been ages actually, that i have not visited this makan place

menu changed, more choices, price also increased. sigh. then i ordered something light & hubs ordered a rice dish. when our food came, hubs' food was looking nice, mine was shocking! i was like wtf & i was looking at hubs like "wat the heck is this man". it was curry potato toast which i ordered. i thot it has curry chicken mar, curry rite... comes with chicken mar... walaoeh, how the heck i know it has only 4 pieces of sad looking small tiny weeny pieces of potatoes. OMG. nasib the curry tasted nice... if not i sudah mau cry ok. walaoooooooeh.

sad or not u say, i know its already 9pm plus, but come on lar. don't do this to your customer man. not only tarak chicken (ok lar, my fault, didn't read properly) but the potato... i really wanna cry man. OMG. u see lar for yourself... sad or not?! and it's blady rm4.80 man. cis!

Finding GOD

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of Root Beer and he started his journey

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him a Twinkie.

He gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. His smile was so pleasant that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer.

Again, he smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got upto leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man, and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?"He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? God's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home. His son was stunned by the look of peace on his face and he asked," Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy?"He replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." However, before his son responded, he added,

"You know, he's much younger than I expected."
