a quiet weekend

it was. no where to go, no plans whatsoever. hubs was working on sat, so left me & lil missy home alone. as usual she will wail looking for her beloved daddy & i have to just sit there & watch her cry cus i can't do anything to stop her, eventually she will stop crying. sigh. then each time after her bath, she will go "kai kai, kai kai, car car, kai kaaaaaai" omg... what have i done!

she will go "daddy... daddY... daDDY... DAADDDY" walaoeh, benci nyer akuuuuu! haha... damn tension man. oh well... hope it's just a phase. after daddy came back, we all took an afternoon nap & then got ready for midvalley around evening. there was a property expo, so we went & kepo a bit. affordable properties are all very far. kenot afford ones are always around town. so looks like if i want a place of our own, we gotta move to klang. oh well, we will just be content for where we are residing now. no $$ to buy landed property just yet. so got to be patient.

we went over to Chilis for dinner & lil missy gets to eat for free (children under 12 eats for free) & i ordered macaroni & cheese for her. she was playing with the food more than she eats it. sigh. then we went over to carrefour to get some things & went home around 9pm+

today we woke up late. wen over to oldtown for lunch & 'lepak' there for about 2 hours. luckily lil missy can sit in the high chair for that long, she was feeding herself hor fun. must keep her occupy with something, if not forget it. she will be running around like mad.

we also spent some time finished watching 4 movies, The House Bunny, Underworld-Rise of the Lycans, Jack & Jill and finally IP Man. very very nice. hehehe...

many times my credit card statements shocked me. hehe... ya lah, swipe & sign only what. when statement comes along, die lah! so when i received a letter from HSBC yesterday, in my heart, im already like "sei lor, die lah, wan tan liao lah!"

but then... i got this :)

never thot im going to get it when i registered my card number for this lucky pick. yipeeee! though only rm30, but im happy leh. wakakaka! at 1st i wanted to cancel this card cus i really want to watch my spending, im trying to save more mah (to fulfill my dream)

books oh books

remember this? i bought it like in Oct 08, and i still yet to finish reading the book! hahaha... omg, im so lazy, i gotta make time, make time, make timeeeee! while THE GIFT is waiting to be read, me being a bookaholic, went to get more books in between! sei mou? i really don't know, but books just makes me happy. for now i just need to make time & read these books! oh my precious books!

oh, the 1st book, i didn't buy it, it was given to me when i attended the 7th Habits of Highly Effective People training over the pass 3 days. information overloaded i tell you, but it was a good training. now to make those habits to MY habits, that's my challenge. hehe... for now i just need to learn to prioritize, to make my mission statements, to maintain Quadrant II & to think WIN-WIN!

a bit the late isn't it? CNY is over, how come so fast wan leh! sob sob! oh well... till next year then. on saturday, we went over to cookingmomster's house for steamboat & lou sang, together with her bunch of crazy frens whom i met on last new year's eve gathering. it was really nice, just a small group chatting, gossiping & eating at the same time. this time lil missy was behaving A-OK, not overboard. and we also celebrated cookingmomster's 18th birthday! hahaha!

on sunday, we went over the curve for awhile before we head over to a fren's new condo for a visit. of course i pop over to DAISO, how can i miss it? haha! bought like 6 items only cus this time lil missy was wide awake & was touching everything she sees & it really drove us up the wall! we also took a walk at the flea market & it was very HOT! we were walking so fast, i think i miss out a lot of nice stuf. we then had dinner at kim gary at the curve & then we over to our fren's place only to find out that they were having lion dance around the guard house area. there was a large crowd & my lil missy was enjoying herself watching it. luckily she isn't afraid of lion dance & fire crackers, if not... CNY would be a scary time for her & tiring time for me.

it was a thaipusam public holiday over on monday, but hubs had to go to office to clear of some works with his trainer leaving me & lil missy behind. initially he thought of bringing me & lil missy together with him for lunch over at victoria station & then drop us both of at Great Eastern mall while he get to office to do his work. i was contemplating about it, what if he work more than that 1.5 hours he told me that he needed, knowing him, i didn't want to take that risk so i ended up going out with cookingmomster together with her 2 kiddos. we went over to south city & had lunch in oldtown kopitiam. it was really nice as lil missy was enjoying herself playing with ee thern & le ann, so im happy i can eat peacefully (kind of!)

and all this wooden learning boards, i got it near a huge store (near my home area) selling all kinds of stuff from A-Z. each of this boards cost less than rm 5 & rm10! what a bargain!

CNY 2009

was well spent cus we had 10 days break! think this is my 1st CNY which im on 10 days break. shiok maximum! haha... but it was tiring too... meaning no sending lil missy to bbsitter & i had to take care of her fully for 10 days. gosh, but im always wondering how come lil missy dont really kick up a fuss when im in my parents' home. even she sleeps peacefully at nite & she is easy to handle than being in KL... i wonder why?

anyway, we didn't go anywhere, no visiting as still on 'pantang' as my FIL passed away only 1/2 year ago, so we stay put at home. eve & 1st day of cny was spent with the ILs, loiter around, a bit of "fatt choy" but i din play much. not really interested... hehehe...

2nd day of cny, i followed my parents back to muar to my maternal grandma's home. i have not been back to muar during cny for the pass 3 years, so this year i get to go back. hubs din follow cus we pitied him, sure he will be bored in my grandma's house, cus he is not use to the environment there, so i let him off this time. i meet up with lots of cousins & relatives. it was fun & lil missy was well behaved *phew* on 3rd day of cny, MIL offered to take care of lil missy for 1-2 days & i was FREE! whooohooo! i seriously felt a light shoulder once hubs took lil missy back to his house. i kid you not. serious. i felt no stress, no tensioness... hahahaha... got to meet up with few frens over in jonker street for drinks, catch up & yak non stop. able to watch the movie "the wedding game" by Christopher Lee & Fann Wong. gorgeous couple & a funny show! able to meet hubs in a club listening to live band, able to go mamak for 'yamcha' till wee hours in the morning. hah, those were the good old days :)

on the 4th day of cny, we had steamboat at home, my bro's frens came along, my aunt & my cousins came too, some frens, small occasion & it was so nice. really enjoyed myself. then for the rest of the remaining days, it was loitering at home, going out to malls, a little bit of this & that. so i will let the pictures do the story telling...

welcome back!

after 10 days of break, finally back to reality ---> WORK. oh well, it's about time anyway, if holiday some more, sure become fatter & lazier... hehe!

we came back to KL few days earlier on Sat as we need to attend hubs' boss' CNY open house in USJ. we went there straight from malacca so it was a bit tiring. once reached home, its all about cleaning, mopping, washing this & that! it was tiring. on Sunday morning, we went out for lunch & to Mines just to loiter around. at night, had dinner with bro in law & visited relatives in Gita Bayu & spend a few good hours there watching Wah Lai Toi 'on demand'

as it was a public holiday on Mon for us who works in KL, happy lah! i know im being a bad parent, but i had to send lil missy to bbsitter house so we the parents can get a break, for a day. bad hor, but can't help it. we had a few errands to complete before the works starts. we manage to catch Inkheart over in TGV & massages over in Thai Odyssey. hubs went for the full body massage & i choosed the foot reflexology & shoulder massage. it was really nice & pampering :) after all that, we went pick up lil missy & proceed to our relative house in Gita Bayu again.

CNY was good, well spent in malacca, shall blog about it soon. hmmm... i don't know what came up to me, been spending on pedicure for CNY, massages in malacca, which i normally won't be spending on. probably im really tired, just need a little pampering. motivate myself a bit.

and oh yeah, i spent lot of hours in getting this new layout up. really love another layout, but i gave up on the html codes, after few hours of trying. i was up till 430am on sunday nite! imagine that. walaoeh, crazy man. and on top of that i lost my blog list! now im updating as i read :(
